Communication is strained, strategic direction is unclear, turf is unreasonably protected and subordinates are often forced to take sides. Worse, trust is eroded to the point where any internal attempt to improve the situation is met with suspicion and resistance. We get executive teams to agree on strategic prioritization of limited resources and to keep their focus on a manageable number of mission-critical objectives.

As expert facilitators, we take the time to clearly understand the objectives prior to accepting any assignment. This often involves speaking and/or meeting individually with members of the executive team to gather perspective, prior to the event. Once the central problem is identified and the goals are crystal clear, objectives are developed for the facilitation. A unique aspect of our facilitation process is that we discourage putting-off decisions for future discussions, rather, groups are encouraged to make decisions and commitments during the session. Follow-up sessions are often scheduled to ensure that commitments are kept and momentum is maintained.

As independent facilitators who are unattached to any particular business outcome, trust is quickly built among the team because we have no agenda. Our only objective is to drive toward agreement, commitment and momentum.

We are true facilitators who seek collaboration and agreement, but we are quick to address those executives who are resistant and an impediment to progress. Our independence insures that we can't be bullied, manipulated or played. And since we are outsiders, an executive who is angling for political advantage won't get any traction, so we can get straight down to problem solving, making decisions and getting commitments.
